Define The Great Line

Define The Great Line-UnderOATH-(Review based on rough demo)
Reminders: June 2nd-Hot Topic is having a Define The Great Line Listening Party, for more info go to underoath777.com, also June 20, 2006 Define The Great Line comes out and Underoath is going to gain much respect for this polished epic sound this album has....

  1. In Regards To Self-From Chaotic with "wake up, wake up, this is not a test" to the ballad of vocals from Spencer Chamberlain, and on to the echoe of vocals from drummer/singer, Aaron Gillespie and his melodic charm towards the end, finally wraping up in a ballad like the song started, but slower and more force.
  2. A Moment Suspended In Time-My absolute favorite song and would be one choice by me for a single....Aaron and Spencer and Tim, and everybody puts more energy and instrumental genius in this than i can even express in words!
  3. There Could Be Nothing After This
  4. You're Ever So Inviting-SOLID, UNDEROATH
  5. Salmamir-Pure instrumental genius with some foreign language dialogue in the middle-Solid
  6. Returning Empty Handed-One of my favs....this album is pretty musch flawless and this song is epic in its own way.
  7. Casting Such A Thin Shadow-Straightforward Power
  8. Moving For The Sake Of Motion-Instrumental @ the beginning, then it goes to Chamberlain, and then it hits vocals from Aaron Gillespie that hithard and to me are awesome lyrics and are such a strong trend in this album. This song is solid from the beginning, an even-balance from Spence and Aaron and the melody of "getting longer, and longer,..." is amazing. Powerfu, fierce song. UNDEROATH yall KICK @$$ and I love you! It whines into a drum beat playing low, with gentle singing, leading to a slow, hard finale! THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE SONGS!
  9. Writing On The Walls-INstruments and sounds that only Underoath can pull off, and a long epic track howing the growth and maturity that Underoath has gained and is shown on this album.
  10. Everyone Looks So Good From Here-You gotta be dreaming, ya gotta be dreaming!"...Strong song, cant say much more than amazing cause I am not a professional reviewer
  11. To Whom It May Concern-ORGASMIC and POWERFUL and a fav of mine....."FAST FAST FAST FAST! then slow with sounds like no other....Swallowed up alive, shot down, buried from the inside out!" AMAZING AMAZING!!!!!
